Chain link fencing is one of the most cost-effective security options available. It offers a range of add-ons to further enhance its functionality, making it a versatile choice for various needs. Standard chain link heights typically include 6ft and 8ft, but we can also create custom heights for security purposes, such as 12ft and beyond. Installing a security chain link fence around your facility is a budget-friendly solution that provides long-lasting durability and reliable protection. With its ability to be tailored to your specific requirements, it’s an ideal option for securing any property with minimal maintenance and lasting strength.
Adding privacy slats to your new or existing chain link fence offers the perfect solution for securing the privacy of your home, business, warehouse, or property, helping to deter unwanted attention. These lightweight vinyl slats seamlessly weave in-between the chain link, providing privacy without adding excessive weight or stress to the structure. Available in a variety of colors—including black, tan, white, blue, green, and more—these slats allow you to match your fence to your aesthetic. Standard heights range from 4 to 12ft, and chain link privacy slats offer up to 85% privacy, depending on the diameter of the fence. Our slats come with a 10-year manufacturer warranty, ensuring long-term performance. Featuring a secure bottom locking mechanism, our privacy slats prevent slipping or falling out, providing additional peace of mind. These slats are also designed to be highly durable, resistant to harsh weather conditions, and built to last through the years.

A great economical option is to install a chain link fence, with privacy slats, and a barb wire top. If you really want to beef up the security then you can add a razor wire spool. If you want to have video footage of your property, then we can use extension on the posts to connect the video cameras to.
The term “security fence” means different things to different people. Most people define security fence to be a fence that will keep people outside of their property. To others, a security fence brings to mind a tall fence with barbed wire like you would see around a prison. In an industrial setting, a tall chain link fence with barbed wire or razor coils would probably make sense as a fence like this is an economical solution. If you need high security and need a fence that looks nice, then a tall wrought iron fence, termed a high security ornamental fence, with a reverse curve and spikes would be a good fit. Then, if you need a structural fence that would stop a vehicle from driving through the fence, the Palisade fencing may be for you.
Chain link fences are the most common type of security fence. Chain link fences are the least expensive type of security, are installed quickly and require little to no maintenance. Chain link fences can come in various heights and can have barb wire or razor wire added to the top.
Us at Surprise Arizona Fence Company, as security fence contractors, are big advocates for privacy slats. Privacy slats add up to 90% of visibility screening, and therefore whever is behind the fence is hard to see. Privacy slats can be added to existing fences also. Privacy slats are simply slid into place from the top of the fence down to the bottom of the fence. Privacy slats also make climbing a chain link fence much mor difficult as the privacy slate makes it hard to get a grip or footing of the fence.
Barbed wire can be added to pretty much any fence type, but is most typically used in chain link fence applications. The barbed wire can be in rolls or can be in lines like a close-line. Razor wire rolls can be added to really ramp up the security level.
Wrought iron fences can be used in residentail or commercial applications. Wrought iron fences for resdential applications usaully do not include much a security measure to them. When a wrought iron fence needs to be high security also, then you would want to make the fence taller, can add ornamental spikes to the top, can add a reverse curve to thrwart climbing, and barbed wire or razor rolls can also be added.
Palisade fencing is about as high security as you can get. A Palisade fence is comprised ofheavy-duty posts often made from I-beams, angle iron, and roll form pales or infills. In high sensativity locations these fences would be welded together so that they can not be disasembled, and in lesser sensative areas these fences would be bolted together. Bolted panles have the benefit that you can follow the ground contour, but welded fences need to be straight so they may have to be dug into the ground some. Because of how Palisade fences are constructed they are very strong, and if you need additional security, then razor coils or barbed wire can be added also.
